People who are drunk often show certain signs like they have trouble speaking clearly and their words might be jumbled.
They might have trouble walking straight or performing simple tasks.
They might make poor decisions, take risks, or do things they wouldn’t normally do. They might become more emotional, angry, or sad. They might feel tired and sleepy.
- Is alcohol addictive? What about tea, coffee, and chocolate?
Yes, alcohol can be addictive. It can lead to a condition called alcoholism, where people can’t control their drinking. It’s a serious problem that can have negative effects on people’s health, relationships, and work.
Tea, coffee, and chocolate are not considered addictive in the same way as alcohol. They contain caffeine, which can be stimulating, but they don’t have the same potential for causing addiction as alcohol or other drugs. However, people can develop a dependence on caffeine, which means they experience withdrawal symptoms like headaches or fatigue when they don’t have it.
- Do you think marijuana should be legal or illegal? Support your opinion with facts.
This is a complex and controversial issue. Marijuana use can have negative health effects, including impaired memory, reduced motivation, and increased risk of mental health problems. Legalization could lead to increased use and addiction, especially among young people. Marijuana use can also impair driving ability and increase the risk of accidents. So, I think it should be kept illegal.
- Is ecstasy a soft or a hard drug? Explain.
Ecstasy is considered a hard drug. It’s a powerful stimulant that can have serious side effects. Ecstasy can cause excessive sweating and dehydration, which can be dangerous. Ecstasy can also cause anxiety, paranoia, and depression, even in people who don’t have a history of these problems. Finally, ecstasy overdose can be fatal.
- Should there be punishments for dealing drugs? Why or why not?
This is a difficult question. On one hand, dealing drugs is a crime that can harm individuals and society. It can lead to addiction, violence, and crime. On the other hand, some people believe that the war on drugs has been ineffective and has led to mass incarceration, especially in communities of color. They argue that focusing on harm reduction and treatment might be a more effective approach.
- Should there be punishments for using drugs? Why or why not?
This is another complex issue. Many people believe that punishing drug use is counterproductive and can make it harder for people to get help for addiction. However, others argue that drug use is a harmful behavior that should be punished to deter others and protect society.
- Are some people more easily addicted to drugs than others? Explain.
Yes, some people are more susceptible to addiction than others. This is due to a combination of factors, including genetics, environment and mental health. Experiences like trauma, abuse, or exposure to drug use can increase the risk of addiction. People with mental health conditions like depression or anxiety are more likely to develop substance abuse problems.
- What type of alcohol do you like to drink? How often? why?
Alcohol is not something that is openly discussed in Iran. I can’t really answer this question as it’s not something I’m familiar with.
- If you are addicted to drugs, what should you do? Explain.
It’s really hard to talk about this, but I think it’s important to be honest. If I am addicted to drugs, I will talk to someone I trust. Maybe it’s a close friend, a family member, or even a teacher. It’s hard to talk about, but having someone to support me can make a big difference.
