1- Does the President of the United States play an important role in the world today? Why or why not?

Yes, the President of the United States still plays a big role in the world today. As the leader of a major global power, they influence international politics, trade, and diplomacy. Their decisions can impact global markets and foreign policy. Whether it’s climate change, war, or peace treaties, the president’s voice carries weight. Other countries often look to the U.S. for leadership, even when they disagree with its policies.

2- In your opinion, who was the best leader of the United States of America? Who was the worst?

In my opinion, the best U.S. leader was Abraham Lincoln. He led during the Civil War and helped end slavery, which changed the course of history. As for the worst, it’s a bit subjective, but some argue that James Buchanan was ineffective in preventing the Civil War. Leaders are human, and context matters, but leadership during crisis is a strong test. It’s easy to judge in hindsight, but some choices clearly had negative consequences.

3- Who was George Washington? Please say what you know about him.

George Washington was the first President of the United States and is often called the “Father of His Country.” He led the American army to victory in the Revolutionary War and later helped shape the U.S. government. He set important traditions, like stepping down after two terms. Washington was respected for his leadership and humility. He avoided becoming a king-like figure, which helped build democracy.

4- Who was Abraham Lincoln? Please say what you know about him.

Abraham Lincoln was the 16th President and is known for ending slavery and preserving the Union during the Civil War. His famous speech, the Gettysburg Address, is still quoted today. He believed in equality and worked hard for unity. Sadly, he was assassinated in 1865. His leadership and vision left a lasting legacy in American history.

5- Who was John F. Kennedy? Please say what you know about him.

John F. Kennedy was the 35th President and is remembered for his charisma and speeches. He faced major events like the Cuban Missile Crisis and pushed for space exploration. His quote “Ask not what your country can do for you…” became iconic. He also supported civil rights, though more slowly than others. His assassination in 1963 shocked the nation.

6- Who was Dr. Martin Luther King? Please say what you know about him.

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was a civil rights leader who fought for racial equality through nonviolence. He led marches, gave powerful speeches, and inspired change across the U.S. His “I Have a Dream” speech is legendary. He helped pass the Civil Rights Act and the Voting Rights Act. Sadly, he was assassinated in 1968, but his legacy lives on.

7- What do you know about President Jimmy Carter? President George Herbert Walker Bush (George W. Bush’s father)? President Ronald Reagan?

President Jimmy Carter was known for promoting human rights and peace. He helped negotiate the Camp David Accords between Egypt and Israel. George H. W. Bush, the elder Bush, led during the end of the Cold War and the Gulf War. Ronald Reagan was famous for his communication skills and pushing conservative policies. He also played a role in ending the Cold War.

8- What do you know about President Bill Clinton?  Please say what you know about him.

Bill Clinton was the 42nd President and oversaw strong economic growth in the 1990s. He focused on balancing the budget, welfare reform, and expanding global trade. His presidency was popular but also controversial due to his impeachment. Still, many remember him as a skilled politician. His policies impacted both Democrats and Republicans.

9- Obama versus Trump, which one do you prefer? Why

Personally, I prefer Obama over Trump. Obama focused on unity, healthcare, and diplomacy, which appealed to many globally. Trump had a more aggressive and controversial approach that divided opinions. Obama’s communication style was calm and thoughtful. Trump, however, did bring attention to issues like trade and immigration. Both had very different leadership styles and priorities.

10- Can you name the two major political parties in the United States? Explain

The two major political parties in the U.S. are the Democratic Party and the Republican Party. Democrats generally support more government involvement in healthcare and social programs. Republicans often push for lower taxes, less regulation, and strong national defense. These parties have different values but share the same democratic system. Most political debates in the U.S. revolve around their ideas.
