1- Rising stars = People who are quickly becoming successful in their field.
The company is filled with rising stars who bring fresh ideas and energy.

 

2- Burning ambition = A very strong desire to achieve something.
She had a burning ambition to become a successful entrepreneur.

 

3- Up and coming = Gaining recognition and likely to be successful soon.
He’s an up and coming artist in the local music scene.

 

4- The sky’s the limit = There is no limit to what someone can achieve.
With your talent and dedication, the sky’s the limit.

 

5- The world’s your oyster = You have many opportunities in life and can achieve anything.
Now that you’ve graduated, the world’s your oyster.

 

6- Going up in the world = Becoming more successful in life or career.
Since landing that new job, she’s definitely going up in the world.

 

7- Hungry for success = Very eager to be successful.
He’s young, energetic, and hungry for success.

 

8- Highflier = Someone who is very successful or likely to be.
She’s a real highflier already managing her own team at 25.

 

9- Move heaven and earth = To do whatever it takes to achieve something.
He said he would move heaven and earth to win the contract.

 

11- Unfulfilled ambition = A goal or desire that has not yet been achieved.
Becoming a novelist was his unfulfilled ambition.

 

12- Pull out all the stops= To do everything possible to make something successful.
They pulled out all the stops to make the wedding unforgettable.

 

13- Leave no stone unturned = To try every possible way to achieve something or find something.
The detectives left no stone unturned in their search for the missing evidence.

 

14- Stop at nothing = To be determined to achieve something by any means necessary.
She stopped at nothing to make sure her business succeeded.

 

15- Move heaven and earth = To do everything possible to achieve a goal.
They moved heaven and earth to finish the project on time.

 

16- Pull (your) socks up = To improve your performance or effort.
You need to pull your socks up if you want to pass the exam.

 

17- Get left behind = To fail to keep up with others or fall behind.
If you don’t keep learning, you might get left behind in this fast-changing industry.

 

18- Set (your) sights on something = To decide to achieve or obtain something.
He has set his sights on becoming the next company CEO.

 

19- Set (your) heart on = To want something very much.
She has set her heart on traveling to Japan next year.
