A goal is something that you want. It can be money, power, strength, success, wisdom, knowledge, a family, inner peace, or relaxation. We all have different goals. If you come to this website every day, your goal is to learn English.
- HIs goal is to catch some fish.
- He wants to score a goal. (In soccer, football, and hockey, players try to score a goal. That is their goal.)
- Her goal is to someday become an artist.
- He wants to be successful in business. That’s his main goal.
- She acheived her goal of becoming an expert in martial arts. Now she teaches it to others.
