Talking about days:

  • Today is the 18th.
  • Today’s Thursday.
  • It’s Thursday the 18th.
  • It’s the 18th of April.
  • It’s April 18th.
  • Yesterday was the 17th.
  • Tomorrow is the 19th.
  • Tomorrow is Friday.
  • The day after tomorrow is Saturday.
  • There are 30 days in the month of April.
  • April began on a Monday.
  • April ends on a Tuesday.

Talking about weeks:

  • This is the week of the 15th. (The week begins on April 15.)
  • I’ll be in Arizona on the week of the 22nd. That’s next week.
  • This week has been busy.
  • Last week was not as busy. (last week = the previous week)
  • We had a major snowstorm exactly one week ago on April 11.
  • A week from now will be April 25.
  • It will be May in about two weeks.
