The daughter of your brother or your sister is your niece.
- Tom’s sister had a baby girl. He is an uncle to the baby. The baby is his niece.
- Sheila needs to buy a birthday present for her niece. Her niece is turning four. Sheila is her aunt.
- Do you have any nieces or nephews? (A nephew is the son of your brother or sister.)
