1- Do you ever get headaches? Do you know anyone who suffers from migraine headaches?

Yes, I do get headaches occasionally, especially when I’m stressed or haven’t had enough sleep. They’re not too severe, so I usually just rest or take a mild painkiller. I also know someone who suffers from migraines, and it seems really tough to deal with. She gets sensitive to light and sound during an attack. I definitely feel for people who go through that regularly.

 

2- Do you ever read magazines or news articles about health? If yes, what subject(s) do you find the most interesting?

Yes, I sometimes read health-related articles online or in digital magazines. I’m particularly interested in mental health, nutrition, and sleep science. It’s fascinating how small lifestyle changes can impact overall well-being. I also like reading about how the brain works and ways to improve focus and productivity. Health info has become more accessible, so it’s easier to stay informed.

 

3- Do you exercise? What kind of exercise do you do? How often do you exercise?

I try to exercise a few times a week, though I’m not super strict about it. I enjoy brisk walking, light home workouts, and occasionally yoga for relaxation. It really helps with stress and keeps my energy levels up. Sometimes I take long walks just to clear my mind. I think consistency matters more than intensity for me.

 

4- Do you have any scars? Where are they? Would you like to show them to the class?

Yes, I do have a few small scars on my knee from when I fell as a kid, and a tiny one on my hand from cooking. They’re not very noticeable, so I don’t mind them at all. I probably wouldn’t show them to the class, though it feels a bit random! Scars tell stories, but I’d rather share them in a conversation than a presentation.

 

5- Do you smoke? If so, do you smoke more than two cigarettes a day? Do you think smoking is not bad for your health?

I don’t smoke, and I never really felt the urge to try it. I know people who smoke casually, but I still think it’s not great for your health. Even a few cigarettes a day can lead to long-term problems. There are definitely better ways to cope with stress. Health should always come first.

 

6- Do you think you will live until a ripe old age? Why or why not?

I do hope to live a long and healthy life. I try to take care of myself by eating well, staying active, and managing stress. Of course, some things are out of our control, but lifestyle plays a big part. I think having a positive mindset also helps. Aging gracefully is the goal.

 

7- Do you think you would be a good surgeon? Why or why not?

I don’t think I’d make a good surgeon. I don’t do well with blood and high-pressure situations. I admire those who do it though; it requires so much precision and calmness. I’m more into languages and communication. But I’d be happy to support people in healthcare in other ways. Everyone has their own strengths.

 

8- Do you watch your weight? What foods do you think are healthy?

Yes, I try to be mindful of my weight, but I focus more on feeling good and having energy. I think foods like fruits, vegetables, lean proteins, and whole grains are great. I also drink lots of water and limit sugary snacks. That said, I still enjoy treats now and then balance is key. It’s all about moderation, not restriction.

 

9- Have you ever been to an acupuncturist? What do you think of acupuncture?

I’ve never been to an acupuncturist, but I’ve read a bit about it. Some people say it really helps with pain and stress. I think it’s interesting how traditional medicine and modern health practices can work together. I’d be open to trying it someday.

 

10- How often do you eat junk food? What kinds of junk food do you eat?

I do eat junk food sometimes, especially when I’m stressed or watching a movie. My favorites are chips, fries, and ice cream. But I try not to make it a daily habit. Maybe once or twice a week, depending on my mood. Again, it’s all about keeping a balance.
