Three states that touch Canada are Michigan, New York, and Minnesota. These border states often have more cultural exchange and trade with Canada, which can affect the local lifestyle.

Texas, Arizona, and California share a border with Mexico. This means the culture and food in those states are heavily influenced by Mexican traditions, with lots of delicious Mexican dishes and celebrations.

The states on the Pacific Coast include California, Oregon, and Washington. These states can experience earthquakes because they are near tectonic plate boundaries in the Pacific Ring of Fire.
