• What are the best and the most useful inventions of mankind in the 20th and 21st centuries? Explain. 

It’s tough to choose just a few, but I’d say the computer (and all its related technologies) and the internet have drastically changed the world for the better. They’ve made communication faster, access to information easier, and opened up a whole new world of possibilities for work, education, and entertainment.

• How did the invention of television change people’s lives? Do you think it is a useful invention?

Television completely revolutionized how people consume news, entertainment, and information. It brought the world into homes and united people around shared experiences. While it can be a great source of entertainment and learning, it also has its drawbacks like promoting passive consumption and potentially affecting our attention spans.

• Do you think you can live without your mobile or is it now an important part of your daily life?

My mobile phone is practically an extension of myself. It’s how I connect with friends and family, access information, use social media, and so much more. It’s definitely become an essential part of daily life, even if it can be a bit distracting sometimes.

• Do you use the Internet? Do you feel any addiction to the Internet?

Of course! I use the internet all the time. It’s how I connect with my friends, listen to music, and learn new things. But here in Iran, it can be a bit tricky. Sometimes the internet is blocked, and that can be frustrating. But I try not to let it get me down. I wouldn’t say I’m addicted, though. I try to balance my time online with spending time with family and friends, reading books, and doing other things I enjoy.

• How did the Internet influence such things as communication, correspondence, access to information? Explain. 

The internet has completely transformed communication, making it instant and global. Emails have replaced letters, video calls are common, and social media connects us in ways we never imagined. It’s also given us access to a vast amount of information, making learning and research incredibly easy. While it’s been a phenomenal force for good, it’s also brought about challenges like misinformation, cyberbullying, and privacy concerns.

• Do you think that the Internet is good or evil? Why?

I think the internet is a powerful tool that can be used for good or evil. It all depends on how we choose to use it.  We have to be aware of the potential downsides and strive to use it responsibly.

• What do you think is the worst invention of mankind? (weapons, atomic energy, cigarettes, television, mobile phones, cars, genetically modified products etc) why?

This is a tough one, but I’d say weapons are probably the worst invention of mankind. They have caused countless wars, deaths, and suffering throughout history.

• Can you name some inventions are you looking forward to? (human cloning, time traveling, eternal-life-pill, AIDS\cancer vaccine, teleportation)

I’m really hoping for advancements in medicine that can cure diseases like cancer and AIDS. Imagine a world free from those devastating illnesses! I’m also fascinated by the idea of teleportation, but I think that’s still a long way off.

• What do you know about cloning? Who invented it? How does it work?

Cloning is the process of creating a genetically identical copy of an organism. It was first demonstrated in 1952 by Robert Briggs and Thomas King.The process involves taking a cell from the organism you want to clone and introducing its DNA into an egg cell that has had its own DNA removed. The egg cell is then stimulated to divide and develop into an embryo, which is then implanted into a surrogate mother.

• What is your attitude to human cloning? Do you think it should be prohibited?

The idea of human cloning is very controversial. Some people believe it is morally wrong and that it could have unintended consequences. Others believe that it has the potential to help people who are infertile or who have genetic diseases. I’m not sure where I stand on the issue.
