سوالات مکالمه درباره تشویق‌ها

1- What do you do to encourage yourself when going through hard times? Does it work?

When I go through hard times, I try to remind myself that it’s temporary and that I’ve made it through tough times before. I also write things down or talk to someone I trust. A good playlist and some fresh air help too. It doesn’t fix everything, but it definitely keeps me grounded. And yes, most of the time it works.

2- Which of your family members encourage you most? How?

My mom encourages me the most. She always reminds me of my strengths when I forget them. Even if she doesn’t have the solution, just her saying “I believe in you” gives me a push. Sometimes her confidence in me makes me believe in myself again. Her support is quiet but strong.

3- Which is better: a word of encouragement or a letter of encouragement? Why?

I think a word of encouragement is great for quick support, but a letter can go deeper. A letter stays with you, can reread it when you’re feeling low. It feels more personal and thoughtful. So I’d say a letter is better because it lasts longer and carries more emotion.

4- Is time a weapon to fight discouragement with? Why? How?

Time can be a powerful weapon against discouragement. It gives perspective and helps emotions settle. What feels impossible today might look different a week later. Time allows you to grow, learn, and heal. So yes, it can help more than we realize.

5- How can you motivate others or yourself to have hope when there seems like there’s no hope?

To motivate someone when there seems like there’s no hope, I focus on reminding them of small wins and good moments. I also try to be present without forcing positivity. Hope can grow from feeling heard and supported. And for myself, I just try to take one step at a time. Even baby steps count.

6- What person has inspired you the most? How?

My university lecturer inspired me the most. She came from a tough background but never used it as an excuse. Her passion for teaching and kindness toward students was next-level. She taught me resilience without even saying the word. I still think about her advice when I’m stuck.

7- What celebrity has inspired you most? How

I’d say Keanu Reeves inspires me. Despite going through personal loss, he stays humble and kind. He doesn’t flaunt his success and treats everyone with respect. That balance of success and humility is rare. It’s a quiet kind of strength.

8- Do you agree actions speak louder than words? Can you get someone to do something with your deeds rather than words? Explain

Yes, I agree that actions speak louder than words. You can’t always talk someone into believing you, but your actions prove your intentions. When people see consistency in what you do, they trust you more. Sometimes just showing up is more powerful than any speech. Deeds make things real.

9- Do you encourage others when you see them crying? How?

Yes, I try to encourage them gently. Sometimes I just sit next to them and say, “It’s okay, I’m here.” I don’t always have the perfect words, but being there matters. If they want to talk, I listen. If not, I respect that too.

10- Do you prefer self-motivation to be encouraged by others? Explain

I like a mix of both, but I lean a bit more toward self-motivation. It builds inner strength and independence. But I do appreciate encouragement from others when I feel stuck. Sometimes we need a little spark from outside to reignite our own fire. So it’s all about balance.
