Good evening. This is the ten o’clock news. On tonight’s news:

A baby boy who was kidnapped from a hospital just hours after being born has been found safe and well in a house in the outskirts of the city. A couple have been arrested and are being questioned by police.

School children are to be given free milk in a bid to decrease the risk of osteoporosis. The scheme, backed by the government, has been piloted in the south of the country and has been extremely successful so far.

A new monorail system is to be erected in the city by 2010, developers announced today. The system will improve city transport, which is currently over packed. It is expected to cost a billion pounds.

A computer sale will take place this Tuesday in order to raise funds for new computers in local schools. Local businesses are being asked to donate old computers and they will be sold at discount rates.

A new restaurant has been opened in town. The restaurant is the latest in a string of themed restaurants, and this particular one is a cowboy theme. Punters are expected to go out to eat there in Wild West gear.

Tomorrow’s weather should be bright and sunny all day. Top temperatures are expected to reach 25 degrees so it should be a scorcher! The pollen count will be high, however.
